Open Access Waivers
Institutional Open Access Waivers (OAW) allows all researchers at licensed institutes to publish their articles free of charge with Open Access in TheScientificWorldJOURNAL and other journals of TheScientificWorld.
An OAW license offers:
- Free Open Access publication of articles by the institute’s researchers during the term of the subscription license in both HTML and PDF formats. (Note: peer-review is equally rigorous whether an article submission is intended to be open access or not)
- No limit to the number of such peer-reviewed and accepted articles published as Open Access articles on the TSWJ website.
- More influence: A chance to reach 8 times as many readers as regular articles
What we do:
- Working with the institute, we tell researchers about the availability to publish with open access to encourage open access manuscript submissions
- We check all submissions to see if their institutes have an OAW license
- We provide reports on Open Access articles submitted, in review and published to subscribing institutes

OAW Academic Rates (example 1500-2999 FTEs): $3,750/€3,094
OAW Regular Rates (example 1500-2999 FTEs): $5,625/€4,641
